What is a "slight second" ? 

A piece may have had some minor work done on it to restore it to its former glory. This could range from having fittings replaced or repaired, joints may have been glued back to their former strength, or the piece may have just needed a very good clean and oil with high quality danish oil. More often than not, you would never know a piece was ever classed as a "slight second".

Why is everything so cheap ?

As well as buying large quantities of seconds in one go, our overheads are very low, and we pride ourselves on offering true value for money. We don't have photographers taking fancy pictures of the stock in studios, and we don't have fleets of lorries to maintain.

Will I get a nasty surprise when I get delivery if it's a second ?

Absolutely not. We do not hide anything. If a piece still has a more noticeable flaw than just a very minor small surface scratch, for example, this will always be made clear in the listing of the item. There won't be any nasty surprises. If for any reason you weren't 100% satisfied, there is a full money back guarantee.

What if I would like to view a product first to check it over ?

You can visit the warehouse, thurs - sat (10-4) and on an "appointment" basis at all other times. Call 07976 372584, any time, to make the arrangement in advance.

How much will delivery be ?

This will depend on the item. Some things can be delivered by courier - in which case the charge is fixed (apart from some areas e.g. PA, IV & KW postcodes - for which there may be a small additional charge), and other items will depend on mileage from the warehouse in Bolton. The price may range from FREE (locally) to over £75 for very large bulky items which have to travel some distance. Discounts for multiple item deliveries are available.

When will I get my delivery ?

This depends on whether the item is to be delivered by courier or by company operatives. Items which are being couriered can be delivered as quickly as the next day, but we generally like to allow upto 15 working days after payment. (This may increase slightly in very busy periods).
