Ordering

An address, email address and telephone number will be required before the order can be accepted. A credit or debit card number may also be required. Unless you advise us otherwise, the telephone number may be given to a delivery company or courier in order for them to arrange the delivery. Once the order has been dispatched the completion of the order between The Furniture Factory Outlet and yourself, takes place. We cannot fulfil any obligations due to one or more of the following reasons:- the unavailability of the product that has been ordered, our inability to obtain payment from you/the customer, failure to reach any of the order criteria set out in the terms and conditions. We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time.

Payment

Payment for all orders is at point of sale and not at point of despatch

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this Website whether or not that product has been sold;

To be eligible to purchase products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form contracts on this Website under English law you must:


  • Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom. Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable
By making an offer to buy a product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to, your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.

Cancellation of orders

You may cancel the order, which forms part of the contract, no longer than eight working days after receipt of the order(s).

 

Delivery T's & C's

For small items our standard courier service will attempt delivery twice and will leave a calling card if no one is home to sign for the delivery. You can contact them directly using the details on the calling card or contact us directly. Should you not respond within 5 days, the goods will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge may be applicable

 

Privacy

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website. None of the information you give us will be shared with any third parties. (The only exception to this is in the "ordering" area above, when it may be necessary, unless you express otherwise, for us to pass telephone number information to a delivery service provider). We will keep your email address on file and may from time to time send out promotional offers or information about new products. Bespoke Items

Items which fall into this category may require further confirmation before the order is accepted. After the order has been accepted, a 20% cancellation fee will apply if the order is cancelled.

 

Furniture delivery disclaimer

At Furniture Factory Outlet we try to offer the best possible service and we are happy to deliver items to any room you require. The driver will assess whether or not he/she can physically manoeuvre the items into place and will only do so if items pass freely through the spaces provided.

Returns

While we hope that you're always delighted with your order, we understand that there are occasions you may want to return items. Please ring or email us to advise if you wish to return an item and we will issue you with a return number, this must be within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund.

You will be issued with a credit note for any items returned after this time. Please ensure all items are wrapped securely and we recommend that you use insured registered delivery and keep the receipt. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.
