Slight seconds / Ex Display

The vast majority of our stock is brand new and boxed. If an item is a "slight second" or a return, this will be clearly displayed. If this is the case, the piece may have had some minor work done on it to restore it to its former glory. This could range from having fittings replaced or repaired, joints may have been glued back to their former strength, or the piece may have just needed a very good clean. More often than not, you would never know a piece was ever classed as a "slight second". If it has a more noticeable flaw than just a very minor small surface scratch, for example, this will always be made clear in the listing of the item. There won't be any nasty surprises. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, there is a full money back guarantee.

Solid Oak Items

Some of the supporting structure of these items, such as the base of a drawer in a chest, or strengthening struts, may not be solid oak.

Assembly

Generally the majority of items will arrive fully assembled. However, some items such as dining tables, wardrobes and beds may require some basic assembly. Instructions will be included.
